Key Stage 2 visit the Ulster American Folk Park

In class we have been learning about the adventures of the O'Driscoll children, Eily, Michael and Peggy as they struggled to stay together and alive during the dark days of the Irish Famine. It is a story of love, loyalty, determination and bravery as they escape the dreaded workhouse and make their way to Castletaggart to the home of their great aunts.
