We made bird cakes!🐦

Reception and Primary 1 have been very busy learning all about Winter, as part of our new WAU topic ‘Brrrrrr it’s Freezing!. We have had lots of discussions about the changes that occur throughout Winter. Whilst on our Winter walk around the school, we noticed that the trees were bare and the berries had dried up. This sparked our interest in researching what the animals do during Winter, when food may not be available. We read stories and sang songs all about hibernation and migration, before getting stuck in and helping the birds ourselves.
