The children have loved following the adventures of the O'Driscoll children, Eily, Michael and Peggy as they escape the hardship of being sent to the workhouse and make their way to Castletaggart during the dark days of the famine in Ireland.
Today we took a step back in time and learnt first hand what life would have been like for this young family, driven by fear, hunger, love, loyalty and a determination that they would survive.
